Our Team
Christopher Thomas, Founder & Principal Engineer
Launching Pacific Nanometer LLC in 2010, Mr. Thomas has provided semiconductor consulting services to companies small and large. From turnkey development projects to highly specialized circuits, from training and design reviews to technical due diligence, PacNano has done it all.
Previously, as founder and CTO of Symwave, Mr. Thomas was responsible for forward looking technology development, IP, patent, and trademark filings, incoming and outgoing licensing, third-party technology partnerships, industry group leadership, product compliance and certification, their advanced systems and algorithm development group, product definition, specification and roadmap, as well as technical customer engagement. He launched the company’s first 65nm product development and initiated Symwave's USB 3.0 technology development, and worked with their lead customers to define and develop a USB 3.0 to Sata bridge product line.
Prior to Symwave, Mr. Thomas worked for Conexant Systems developing broadcast audio demodulators, and for Motorola where he worked on the company's first integrated Bluetooth solution.
He holds 20 US patents and has been a member of numerous industry working groups throughout his career.
